The Nasivvik Centre for Inuit Health and Changing Environments is
currently accepting applications for several different opportunities.
The Nasivvik Centre is a multidisciplinary research and training center
based at Laval and Trent University and funded by the Institute of
Aboriginal Peoples Health. The Nasivvik Center focuses on building
capacity in Inuit health research through trainee support and promoting
research on environmental health topics of importance to Inuit
communities. Opportunities are open to Canadian citizens and permanent
residents of Canada at the time of the application. The following
opportunities are available:
- Call for Applications for Masters and Doctoral Scholarships in
Inuit Environmental Health research.
Application Deadline: Friday, 3 June 2011 at 5 p.m. EST.
- Call for Applications for Postdoctoral Fellowships in Inuit
Environmental Health research.
Application Deadline: Friday, 3 June 2011 at 5 p.m. EST.
- Call for Proposals for Complementary Funding of established
research projects relating to Inuit Environmental Health.
Funding will be awarded on first-come, first-serve basis until five
awards have been distributed.
