The NSF Arctic Observing Network (AON) announces the next thematic
webinar in the series on Long-Term Observing Management and Governance.
This event will focus on Information sharing and communication and will
be held on Thursday, 13 March 2014 at 1:30 p.m. EDT.
The webinar will be held via WebEx. Questions addressed during this
webinar include:
- How will community concerns be addressed regarding sharing of
social and subsistence data?
- Should all observing networks use a concept of deliverables rather
than data?
- Should reasonably regular communication with relevant
non-specialist communities be a condition of award?
- Should the method and frequency of communication be set in
partnership with the target communities?
