Researchers planning to include a support letter and estimate for
logistics support from CH2M HILL Polar Services (CPS) in their proposals
under the current National Science Foundation (NSF) Arctic Research
Opportunities (ARO) or the Partnerships for International Research and
Education (PIRE) announcements are asked to provide CPS with a detailed
support request no later than 12 September 2014. Early submissions are
strongly encouraged.
As described in the section entitled 'Proposals Involving Arctic Field
Work' (under 'Proposal Preparation Instructions'), NSF will consider the
full cost of supporting a project, including logistics, prior to making
recommendations.

Please note:
- The NSF deadline for full proposals to the ARO announcement '14-584':
5:00 p.m. (proposer's local time) on Tuesday, 21 October 2014.
- The NSF deadline for preliminary proposals to the PIRE announcement
'14-587': 5:00 p.m. (proposer's local time) on Tuesday, 21 October 2014.
- The NSF deadline for full proposals to the PIRE announcement '14-587':
5:00 p.m. (proposer's local time) on Friday, 15 May 2015.
Researchers should submit field plans and support requirements to CPS

As the primary arctic program logistics contractor for the NSF, CPS
annually provides transportation, communications, infrastructure, and
field camp support to over 150 projects.
