The Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher in ice mechanics and glaciology. This full-time, 12-month position will be located within the Ice Research Laboratory in the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
The successful candidate will study the effect of deformation damage on permeability, using ice as a model. The work will involve systematic experiments in the laboratory and physical modeling.
Qualifications include:
- A PhD in physical science or engineering,
- Experience in the laboratory, and
- Experience in modeling.
