The Cyberinfrastructure for Sustained Scientific Innovation (CSSI) program is seeking panelists to review proposals.
Panels will be virtual and typically last two days. CSSI Program Directors expect each panelist to review about six to eight proposals, and ask those interested to complete the Panelist Survey Form, which will inform them of your area(s) of expertise and dates of availability to serve as a virtual panelist for the months January through March 2022. Indicating availability or interest does not mean a commitment to participate.
Those that have submitted a CSSI proposal in one award class during this cycle may still be eligible to serve as a panelist for the other CSSI award classes.
The CSSI program is interdisciplinary and relies on both cyberinfrastructure experts as well as experts in all science and engineering fields traditionally supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). CSSI expects a topically diverse set of proposals and seeks a variety of expertise, so the collective wisdom of the panel advises NSF about funding recommendations.
