The Climate Change and the Bering Ecosystem Meeting was held on 17-19 July 2006 at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory in Seattle, Washington. Participants, including members of the BEST Science Steering Committee (SSC), Bering Interagency Oversight Group (BIOG), Bering Interagency Working Group (BIAWG), and other interested parties, met to discuss coordination between organizations working in the Bering Sea. The meeting provided an opportunity to share information and plans, assess what areas of Bering Sea work had been funded, identify research gaps, and organize resources.
